// nut-and-bolt rebuilds

Classic & JDM restoration

Full strip-downs, proper prep, and factory-correct rebuilds. Tired cars brought back to their best.

Restoration is where Trackside Imports started, and it is still what we love most. We take tired golden-era icons, an R32, an S15, a first-gen MX-5, and bring them back to the standard they left the factory, or better where it counts.

Every project begins with an honest assessment: what the car needs, what it does not, and a staged plan so you always know where the money is going. We handle the full job under one roof, from bare-shell prep and paint to the mechanical rebuild and the last trim clip.

You get a car that looks right, drives right, and has the history to prove it.

// common questions

Questions we get asked

How much does a restoration cost?

It depends entirely on the car and how far you want to take it. We start with an honest assessment and a staged plan with clear costs, so there are no surprises.

How long does a full restoration take?

A proper nut-and-bolt rebuild is months, not weeks. We give you a realistic timeline once we've assessed the car.

Do you only restore Japanese cars?

Japanese classics are our heart, but if it's a proper car worth doing right, we're interested.

Can I spread the cost over stages?

Yes. We can stage a project so you spread the cost, and you'll always know what's coming next.
